At 16 Steakhouse we are doing everything we can to keep our customers and staff safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are following all of the guidance given to us by the Government, as well as being proactive with our own safety measures. We will continue to update this page as and when we have further government guidance. At Venue16 and 16 Steakhouse our number one priority is the safety of our patrons and staff.
Face masks are no longer mandatory for guests when entering or moving around the premises. We would prefer that they are worn but this is down to customer discretion.
We ask that all patrons are respectful of each other. We are well aware that people feel differently about the rule changes and some patrons may still prefer to be given space when moving around the premises.
Hand sanitiser will still be available across the building and we would ask that all customers use it when entering the building.
We will still be operating table service as usual in the restaurant but customers are now able to approach the bar in our function rooms and main bar to order a drink or food.
Pre-booking remains essential so that we are able to control the numbers of people visiting the restaurant, tables can be booked online by clicking here.
Our staff are all routinely using lateral flow testing and following all guidelines to ensure that they protect their families and our customers.

Going forward we will be reviewing our entry system for large scale events, this may include asking for proof of vaccination OR a negative lateral flow result within 48 hours of the event. We will update customers on these policies when we put them in place.

At Venue 16 and 16 Steakhouse, our number one priority is the safety of our customers and staff.
With the recent rise in COVID 19 cases across the country we are continuously monitoring the situation and the impact this may have on our customers, staff and business.
In the next few weeks, we are meeting with an external company to complete a new risk assessment in light of the colder months and the rise in cases.
Currently, the restrictions on the hospitality industry are minimal. Social distancing is no longer required, and the use of masks is not mandatory. All restrictions on movement within the premises and table service have also gone.
At Venue 16 and 16 Steakhouse, we have kept the sanitiser stations available upon entry and throughout the premises, we have kept up with additional cleaning and we have also listened to customer requests in regards to their visits and requirements. We have also requested that customers with symptoms do not attend.
Some signage has also remained in place, to reinforce the use of sanitiser, and to remind customers and staff to wash their hands more regularly and for at least 20 seconds.
In addition to our current measures, we will consider the implementation of the following procedures so that our customers and teams feel safe.
We will be continuously monitoring the situation and keeping customers updated with any changes to our current policies regarding COVID 19.
Venue 16 and 16 Steakhouse will adhere to Government Guidelines and advice as and when required.
